Herbal cushions - meadow
Last summer I sketched the seedheads in the meadow next to my cutting garden - opium poppies and corncockle had seeded themselves, joining the scabious and dock in the grass.  Using my sewing machine needle like a pen I have drawn on material to make these herbal cushions. 
They have an inner cushion filled with a 100% organic mix of lavender, lemon balm and lemon verbena to relax and refresh.

Vintage French linen/hemp with wool applique.
